The discovery of one of the most remarkable Castle near Paris, residence of 34 kings and 2 emperors... one of the largest castle in France and the best furnished in Europe, witness to court life for 8 centuries!

Upon arrival, you will admire the elegant façade of the main entrance and its famous horseshoe staircase, the emblem of Fontainebleau. It is from the main courtyard that we will begin our visit to the park of the Castle.
Spread over 130 hectares, it is spread around four main courtyards and in the heart of three historic gardens, including the largest parterre in Europe (11 hectares), the work of André Le Nôtre.

Accompanied by our guide, you will discover the English Garden, planted with rare species and punctuated with statues, the Garden of Diana and the legend surrounding the waters of its fountain. It will take you to the Carp Pond Pavilion, where you can admire century-old carps!

With 1,500 rooms, it is one of the largest castles in France, and the most furnished in Europe. Witness to the official and intimate court life of sovereigns throughout the centuries, he embodies, better than elsewhere, the art of French living...

Accompanied by a profesional guide, you will discover the history of the Château de Fontainebleau, from its origins to the Second Empire.
A dedicated route will take you to meet the successive rulers at Fontainebleau and you will discover the emblematic places of the castle... You will wander through the galleries, admire the frescoes and stucco of the Renaissance, take the row of apartments of the king and queen.
A discovery of Renaissance works commissioned by François I, the great works of Henri IV, the refined interiors of Marie-Antoinette, the ceremonial apartment of Napoleon I, the splendours of Napoleon III and Eugenie...

After this morning devoted to the visit of Fontainebleau, we have planned a relaxing break, in a haven of peace on the banks of the Seine River.

You will have lunch on the terrace, by the water, in a calm and relaxing setting. In the shade of the parasols, you will taste a refined, traditional and contemporary cuisine, made with love from fresh products.

At the beginning of the afternoon, we will reach the charming village of Barbizon, a famous village of painters... the most illustrious being Corot, Millet and Rousseau.

Located on the edge of the Fontainebleau forest, it is the ideal starting point for a stroll on a footpath, accompanied by our guide, to the Gorges of Apremont.
We have imagined a simple and easy-to-access route that will allow you to discover the diversity of the Fontainebleau Forest, in particular its reliefs carved by erosion. You will have fun often picturesque shapes of some of these rocks evoking animals (elephant, turtle...).

We will continue our discovery of Barbizon by visiting its charming alleys.

Its beautiful stone houses, its flowered walls covered with ivy, its artists' workshops and its heady turpentine smell will charm you.

Stroll through its cobbled alleys, push the door of small shops and art galleries!

You will be surprised and bewitched by the charm of Barbizon

At the end of the day, we invite you to discover a magical place, of surprising beauty and still little known... the park of the Château de Courances.

Labeled "Remarkable Garden", the park covers 75 hectares of astonishing diversity, at once harmonious, rustic and refined: undergrowth, stone bridges, ponds and ancient canals rub shoulders with a rigorous French garden and a Anglo-Japanese garden.

Take advantage of this timeless stroll... let yourself be dazzled by the shades of green, the spectacular reflections and the water games... a moment of peace and tranquility.

In the heart of the gardens, a magnificent stone house, an old hemp mill, has been transformed into a tea room.
It is the ideal place to offer you a refreshment or a hot drink. A rustic, romantic and refined setting where you can rest while contemplating the Japanese Garden and the undergrowth...
