TOUR OF GIVERNY AND MONET'S HOUSE

Located 80 kilometres from Paris, Giverny is a charming village on the borders of the Ile de France and Normandy. It was here that Claude Monet decided to live and satisfy his passion for painting, gardening and photography. Claude Monet's gardens and house were bequeathed to the Académie des Beaux-Arts by his son Michel in 1966.

In addition to the house, restored as the painter lived in it, the visit includes the painter's studio and a walk through the extraordinary garden, which has just reopened on 1 April.

THE MUSEUM OF IMPRESSONISMS

The museum is dedicated to the Impressionist movement, but also proposes to explore this aesthetic movement beyond the circle of the usually recognised painters, both upstream (the precursors) and downstream (the movements after the Second World War and right up to contemporary art). The plural applied to "impressionism" is intended to evoke this plurality.

This summer, give your relationship with Impressionism an emotional boost and change your point of view! To look at two painters with two different worlds is not an easy task. The exhibition at the Musée des Impressionismes in Giverny in 2022 tackles the Impressionism of Claude Monet and the abstraction of Mark Rothko. The intensity of the works of these two artists is exceptionally brought together in this temporary exhibition from 18 March to 3 July 2022.

TOUR OF LA ROCHE GUYON

Discover at your own pace, with the advice of your guide, one of the most beautiful villages in France, its castle and its magnificent view over the whole region, on the banks of the Seine.

Built into the limestone cliffs, the fortress has marked the Vexin landscape for centuries. Don't miss the village below, where every street is full of surprises and charm.
