Located at 200m from our agency, "Le Procope" is the oldest café in Paris. It opened in 1686 and quickly became famous and busy. From 1689, French comedians settled in front of "Le Procope" and in-between representations, the place was the theatre's café. Voltaire, Rousseau and Diderot were regulars customers and the Encyclopedia started below the Procope's crystal candlesticks ...
