Over the summer, to more fully discover and enjoy the gardens, the "conservation" areas and groves of the château's park will be accessible each Tuesday (June to September) for visitors to stroll through, to the sound of music

DISCOVER VERSAILLES WONDERS :
Symbol of the peak of French kingship, the palace of Versailles was the residence of kings Louis XIV, Louis XV and Louis XVI.
Louis XIII initiated the construction in 1623, Louis XIV developed it and the court settled there in 1682.
DURING YOUR VISIT YOU WILL SEE :
The State Apartments of the king which are made up of a succession of richly decorated rooms which refer to mythology and are dedicated
to the glory of the Sun King and the State Apartments of the queen.
The Hall of Mirrors : Versailles masterpiece. 17 windows opening on the gardens succeed one another along the 73 meters of the hall and
face the 17 arcades adorned with mirrors. Colbert wanted to compete with the products from Venice and created a factory in Paris to produce
those over-size mirrors
The King’s Bedchamber which is located at the center of the palace from 1701 and is the main setting of the King’s formal life.
The Queen’s Bedchamber, all green and gold with the four-poster bed surmounted with white feathers
The formal gardens laid out by Le Nôtre. Nature is tamed there, the beds of flowers are geometrical and the lanes are straight. The fountains and terraces obey the rules of optical illusion, thus, the Grand Canal seems to be close when you stand at the foot of the palace.
On week ends and holidays, fountains come alive and you will attend the wonderful fountains show on a baroque music background.
ON A FULL DAY YOU WILL COMPLETE YOUR VISIT WITH :
Grand Trianon: Louis XIV’s private residence where access was only allowed to courtiers with an individual invitation.
Petit Trianon : the place is marked by Marie-Antoinette’s presence. She stayed there regularly to avoid the court ceremonial.
She created her own landscaped garden and had diverse buildings constructed such as the Temple of love, the French Pavillion,
a theatre or the Hamlet where she could go with gentlewomen dressed like peasants to milk cows and ewes …
You will hop on and off the mini train to go from one place to another and you can have lunch in a restaurant by the Grand Canal.
