MONET EXHIBITION - GRAND PALAIS IN PARIS

During more than sixty years, Claude Monet painted non-stop, working out a work which represents the purest expression of the impressionism, to constitute at the beginning of the 20th century one of the foundations of modern art. It is this whole rich and fecund course that the exhibition Monet in the National Galleries of the Grand Palais in Paris re-questions.
This exhibition is the first retrospective dedicated to Claude Monet in France since the one in 1980, in the Grand Palais in Paris. Since, researches on the artist increased and highlight aspects less known by her work. Orchestrated according to thematic and chronological axes, this exhibition redraw the career of Monet, from the beginning of 1860s to his ultimate pictures linked to the cycle of Nympheas.
